Conservation and sustainability are embedded in the rich culture and heritage of Sealaska’s tribal member shareholders. Guided by these principals, SWPS seeks to provide its customers with a complete range of sustainable, certified forest products.

To show their commitment to well-managed forestry practices, SWPS received its CoC certification from SCS to Forest Stewardship Council standards (SCS-COC-001824). This certification demonstrates that the wood used to create SWPS‘ wood products are derived from well-managed forests. SWPS also requires that all of its supplying partners are both certified and follow the astringent guidelines put forth by the FSC.

As an Alaska Native owned corporation, with a foundation built on the philosophies of stewardship and sustainability, Sealaska believes it is their obligation to uphold the culture and heritage of its shareholders and hold their lands in perpetuity for future generations.
